Morning Open Surgery
Every morning we have an open surgery, which is held between 8:30am and 10:30am. Patients will have to attend the surgery to request an appointment, we do not offer appointments for open surgery over the telephone. We have found this to be the best way in ensuring patients can be seen on the day. One of our receptionists will give the patient an approximate appointment time, the patient has a choice to wait in reception until their allocated appointment time or leave and return for their appointment time.
We have pre-bookable appointments at the surgery for patients who need to book appointments in advance for follow ups with a particular doctor or to discuss non urgent problems. To book these appointments please phone the surgery.
All nurses appointments are pre-bookable, these need to be booked in advance. Please phone the surgery to book an appointment.
10 minute Consultations.
All routine consultations are 10 minutes in duration and we ask that patients only discuss one issue per appointment with the doctors, this allows a fair amount of time for each patient and helps doctors keep to their appointment times.
If you have more than one problem please do not hesitate to let a receptionist know so that they can arrange longer appointment for you.
Patients are now able to make and cancel appointments with a Doctor on line via patient access. Patients that wish to use our online services will need to drop by the Surgery and ask at reception for an online access printout. This printout will be different for each patient; this will give you a username and password to be able to register for this system.
To make or cancel appointments please click the patient access link below. This link can also be used to order repeat prescriptions.
Home visits are also available for all housebound patients. If a home visit by a doctor is required please phone the Surgery to make this appointment. We also ask that if you need an on the day home visit it would be convenient to phone us before 1pm.
